Twins Martin and Sheila Romanowicz are having a joint exhibition of hand crafted  furniture by Martin and paintings by Sheila. Free Admission.
Both Martin and Sheila Romanowicz have degrees in Fine Art and feel passionate about what they do and wanted to take this opportunity to showcase their work together.
Martin has lived and worked in Petersfield for the past 40 years.
After leaving Portsmouth University he started his adventures in wood, most notably, restoring antiques, making bespoke furniture and also as principal designer for Deptich Designs, a London based furniture manufacturer.
He has now brought together these skills and experience to create a unique collection of furniture. Emphasis is on elegance, strong lines and distinctive design using an array of woods to allow rich colour contrasts and textures that show off the beauty of the wood. Much of the work is by hand each piece is unique.
Sheila’s passion for the visual arts has continued to this day. Her most recent collection of work is a celebration of colour, a tale of the unexpected, the recognisable blends with the strange to create a mystery inviting the onlookers to come to their own conclusions.
